Evelyn Aday, 84, of Grant passed away Saturday March 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by husband, Price Aday; son, Jimmy Aday; grandson, Jacob Aday; father, Charles E. McWhorter; mother, Mary Sue McWhorter; brothers, Talmadge McWhorter and Clifton McWhorter; and sister, Ruth Russell. Surviving are daughter, Sheila Thompson and husband Jeff of Grant; daughter, Martha Harris and husband Dick of Meridianville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Adam Tisdale officiating.
Interment will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
