DALY, Richard Deputy Richard Joseph Daly, 55, of Zebulon, Georgia entered into rest on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. He was the son of the late Joseph Daly and Joyce Ormond Daly. He is preceded in death by his sister: Renee "Sissy" Radics. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Cheryl Ann Daly; children: Toby Daly and his wife Janaya and Amber Wright and her husband Joshua; grandchildren: Colton Daly, Madalyn Wright, Marisa Wright, Matthew Wright; mother: Joyce Ormond Daly; Brothers: Rusty Daly, Steve Daly; sisters: Suzanne Adams and Judy Dempsey; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 9AM until 9PM at Tara Garden Chapel 681 North Ave. Jonesboro, GA 30236 770-471-7171. Services honoring Deputy Daly will be held on July 28, 2011 at 2PM at the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia. Interment will follow the service at Moody's Memorial Park 10170 Hwy. 19 N. Zebulon, Georgia 30295.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the Georgia Sherriff's Association Youth Homes 3000 Hwy. 42N, PO Box 1000 Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
